The festival of lights isnโt just about illuminating our homes โ itโs about brightening our inner spaces.
While getting ready for Diwali this year, I came to a realization that, like the great stories that surround this festival, we are all engaged in internal conflict.
We frequently win over our limited ideas and behaviors rather than against outside forces. On our path to enlightenment, every tiny victory over negativity, self-doubt, or procrastination is like lighting another diya (lamp).
The power of fresh starts, the thrill of giving, and the warmth of belonging are what really make Diwali unique, not simply the glittering displays or delicious treats. Cleaning our homes truly helps us to declutter our minds. We are creating lasting relationships when we spend time together and celebrate festivities.
But why limit this spirit to one festival? What if we carried this light of consciousness, connection, and celebration through every day of our lives?
